Alan Dixon
"I am hoping that you may be able to help me track down relatives of my father-Alan DIXON. He was born in Woodhouse in 1935 and grew up in the Mansfield and Birmingham areas. He worked for Ansells Brewery but I am not sure when this was.  His Mother's name was Grace and his Father was Arthur. He had two brothers - Percy and Arthur and a sister called Pamela. He joined the RAF and later the Army and travelled overseas and finally settled in Australia 28 years ago.
He lost contact with all of his family prior to coming to Australia and I would like to try and locate them and get in touch with them for him. If you can help or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated."

James Perry
"I  am  researching my family history. I was always told James Perry  who
manufactured the "Perry pen " in Birmingham  about 1830 with his brother
Stephen was my distant uncle. George Perry  who  manufactured buttons was my g.g.grandfather.
Can any one give me any information on the family-I seem to have come to a full stop.
I think Lancaster street was one factory site. I have some articles from the Renold Chronology . James Perry died young .   I would love to find out more about this time -where he lives etc.
I  live in Cornwall so have to do all my research by e-mail.
If I could find out where James Perry lived I could perhaps find  out more by
the census."

Jane Forrest
" I am trying to trace my family and am searching in particular for my mother who I know is now dead and the last known address  I have is Jane Forrest, 105 Wood Grove, Kings Norton .Bhm 30. Having searched  maps in this area I cannot find  a Wood Grove in Birmingham. It may be that the area has been redeveloped and the street no longer exists.  She lived there in the mid to late 50's  but may have been rehoused or moved. Any information which may be helpful would be appreciated. Thanks "

The Don Store
"Does anyone know what happened to a large store located on Corporation St, called The Don? It was a store that featured School uniforms & Officers clothing. It had been in business many years and was still open after WW2.
It was not far from the C&A which was badly bombed during the war.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

"I am trying to contact a former workmate Tim Barnett, who worked for Maxgate Ltd in the souvenir and gift industry, around the mid 70's to the mid 80's.  I believe he lived in the Bromsgrove area.   I would love to meet up with him again."
