STARS AND CARS GEAR UP FOR AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL 2004

Autosport International 2004,
8-11 January
 NEC, Birmingham.

Ferrari, the world's most reputed name in motorsport, is set to unveil arguably its most significant display outside of Italy. The stunning selection of 18 Ferraris, some of which have never been seen before in the UK, will be at the premier motorsport show Autosport International 2004, 8-11 January at the NEC, Birmingham.

Presented by Galleria Ferrari in Hall 6, the display will feature some of the most beautiful racing and road machines on the planet, including nine racing and nine awesome road going cars from yesteryear and present day. A magnificent line up representing Ferrari's stunning road cars will include the 575M Maranello, alongside the Ferrari Challenge Stradale, the 550 Barchetta, the Enzo Ferrari, the F40 and F50.

The F2000, F2001 and F2002 cars which help seal three of Michael Schumacher's six world championship titles and the F1999 are sure to be the highlight of this unique mouth watering display of motoring and racing history. The 575GTC (the racing version of the 575M Maranello) and 360GTC FIA GT cars will also feature.

Britain's Justin Wilson, fresh from his first season in Formula One, will officially open the Show to the public on Saturday 10 January. Justin, from Northampton, commented: "Having attended the Autosport Show several times in the past I'm delighted to have been asked to open the event to the public in January! The show provides the perfect winter fix for fans eagerly awaiting the start of the new motorsport season. I know how difficult it can be for the public, especially in Formula One, to get close to the action and I think it's great that the Autosport Show allows visitors unrivalled access to a wide variety of drivers and cars from a whole host of categories. I personally
can't wait to use the opportunity to meet and thank the fans who have supported me in my first season in Formula One with Minardi and subsequently Jaguar Racing!"

More than one million square feet of the NEC will be devoted to the motorsport industry and provides a unique experience for anyone passionate about any aspect of the sport. The voices of Formula 1 on ITV, Louise Goodman, Tony Jardine, Ted Kravitz and Jim Rosenthal will be at the Show as well as Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, Derek Bell, Martin Brundle and John Watson plus a host of other F1 drivers.

Tiff Needell is confirmed as the first of the big names to perform in the British Eurosport Live Action Arena. Tiff will be doing what he does best by amusing 4,500 spectators at each of the 45 minute British Eurosport Live Action Arena shows. If you are into live action racing then this is the place to get your start of season adrenalin rush. Take a seat in the purpose built stadium and
enjoy a prime position from which to watch an array of motor racing formulas at their best, in the fourth most watched motorsport event in the UK. Stars and cars are already lining up to perform in this must see driving spectacular, including Super Silhouettes, Midgets and Global GT Lights.

Other Show highlights include a Formula One racing grid, a recreation of just how it looks and feels, minutes before the 'off'. Autocar, in association with Autoglym, will also present a world class Supercar Paddock, featuring a fantastic selection of cars, some of which have never been seen before in the UK. Already confirmed is the Lamborghini Gallarda launched earlier this year.
