"An oasis for city living"
For a true haven of peace and relaxation, there is nowhere like
Body and Being. The spa is located near Brindleyplace and the NIA,
beside the canal.
On arrival at Body and Being, I was given a relaxing pot of tea and
asked to complete a questionnaire about my lifestyle, medical
history etc. From the outset, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing
and you really feel that you have stepped away from the stresses
and strains of the outside world.
This tranquil spa boasts an impressive list of treatments
designed to calm all aspects of a city lifestyle. You can choose
from an enticing array of beauty, holistic and lifestyle treatments,
ranging from the everyday to the exotic. Facial treatments range
from a Feel Good Facial lasting 30 minutes for £22.00 through to the
Sheer Indulgence treatment which lasts for 90 minutes and costs
£65.00.
For the body, the 30 minute Salt Glow Body Polish is £27.00 up
to a Total Body De-Tox which takes 60 minutes for £45.00.
"Maintenance " treatments such as Manicure, Pedicure or Waxing are
all competitively priced and culminate in the Full Body Make-Over -
3 hours of beautifying indulgence for £95.00. There is also a
range of new Ayurvedic Spa Treatments from Fushi® designed to boost
well being.
Fushi Soothe (90 mins) £69.00
Fushi Power (75 mins) £59.00
Fushi Peace (75 mins) £59.00
Fushi Pure (75 mins) £59.00
I opted for the Fushi peace de-stress treatment which includes a
stress relieving combination of massage techniques. This is a
luxuriously relaxing full body massage with acupressure relaxation
points combined with a warm herbal compress to help calm and relax
the body. The Peace treatment is designed to leave you feeling
revived and refreshed. My only criticism is that I felt so relaxed
after it, I would have liked a little sleep! I did feel rather as if
I had been hurled back into the real world again when I came out of
the calm and tranquil atmosphere of the spa and had to walk back to
the car park to find my car but that just shows how much the
treatment works.
Body and Being offer an excellent range of special offer
treatments, including a number of packages for special occasions
such as Mothers Day so why
not take a look at their web site at
www.bodyandbeing.co.uk
and treat your Mum and yourself! Corporate sessions and Hen Parties
are also catered for.
Sibila's, the spa restaurant
is already a popular favourite for vegetarians and healthy eaters. (CLICK

treatment?
