SHAKESPEARE COMES TO THE BOTANICAL GARDENS

The Botanical Gardens are still a haven in the heart of the city offering a superb opportunity for recreation and relaxation close to the centre of Birmingham. It is a place to relax, to enjoy the thousands of plants, to stroll and converse, to picnic or merely to sit in the sun. 

This Summer, visitors  also have the chance to see two superb Shakespeare plays in the idyllic setting of the Gardens as follows:-

Wed 23 Jun - Fri 25 Jun 
Crescent Open Air Theatre
presents 
'Much Ado About Nothing' by William Shakespeare 
7.15pm each day 
(Tickets required) 

Wed 14 Jul and Thu 15 Jul
and
Wed 21 and Thur 22 July
MDCC Open Air Theatre presents
'A Midsummer Nights Dream' by William Shakespeare
7.30pm each day 
(Tickets required)
