to bring back motor racing, but have come up with something potentially
even more spectacular. We are trying to bring together as many individuals,
businesses and organisations as we can to try to make this happen again.
It could bring huge benefits to the region, but it needs as much support

SHAKESPEARE COMES TO THE BOTANICAL GARDENS
"In the Birmingham Botanical Gardens one Feels in the country, far away from the din of commerce, the roar of trade, and the contentions of politics". - Gardeners' Chronicle, 28th September 1872 The Botanical Gardens are still a haven in the heart of the city offering a superb opportunity for recreation and relaxation close to the centre of Birmingham. It is a place to relax, to enjoy the thousands of plants, to stroll and converse, to picnic or merely to sit in the sun. This Summer, visitors also have the chance to see two superb Shakespeare plays in the idyllic setting of the Gardens as follows:- Wed 23 Jun - Fri 25 Jun
Wed 14 Jul and Thu 15 Jul
