In the 31 years since then he’s sold over 30 million albums, been hailed as one of the world’s best slide guitarists and established himself as a top blues player.

Showing no signs of letting up, he’ll be appearing at Symphony Hall on March 9 and 10 next year and Warners have just released the aptly titled Still So Far To Go….The Best of Chris Rea. A double CD featuring 34 remastered songs, it includes the hits Let’s Dance, Stainsby Girls, The Road To Hell, and Julia plus two brand new recordings, Come So Far, Yet Still So Far To Go and Valentino.
