INSPIRATIONAL STITCHING AND HOBBYCRAFT SHOWS FROM ICHF THIS AUTUMN!

ICHF are set to start off the autumn season with another fantastic series of inspirational, creative and entertaining shows taking place across the country. As ever, there will be thousands of stitching, hobbycraft, art, cake and craft supplies and hundreds of exhibitors offering demonstrations and workshops to those who want to get creative!

Some of the NEW exciting features for this season include:-

Stars on the Dance Floor: A stunning display from the world-renowned couture company Chrisanne Ltd, costume designers for the BBC smash hit Strictly Come Dancing.
Beading Extravaganza : Stunning work from Hand & Lock plus original 1920’s Flapper dresses, African & Indian beadwork and work from the Beadworkers Guild private collection & group competition pieces.
Knitted Gingerbread House: Life sized knitted Hansel & Gretel style house including full size bed, Welsh-dresser, stove & cuckoo clock!
Textile Treasures of the WI :Some exquisite pieces of work, many with a story to tell, from WIs, Federations, NFWI and Denman College.
Hot Textiles! With Kim Thittichai, Brighton based Textile Artist & Tutor who will be signing copies of her new book alongside an exhibition of her exciting work and demonstrations of many new techniques.
A Stitch in Time : Straight from the Stockport Story Museum, courtesy of the Quilters Guild of the British Isles, who were invited to use Staircase House as inspiration for a quilt design.

Shaun the Sheep's PicKnit Challenge! Everyone’s help is needed to create our fabulous new knitting project featuring ‘Shaun the Sheep’ the latest, exciting character from Aardman Animations. Visitors will be encouraged to knit something at participating shows to help create a life-sized picnic!
