INTERNET DATING - IS THIS THE ANSWER FOR TODAY'S HECTIC LIFESTYLE?

This is the age of the Dating Agency!  Everywhere you look there's someone trying to tempt you to find a date- "Meet 1000s of singles online", "Find your perfect match ", "Meet singles in your area" with methods ranging from the traditional "Lonely Hearts" adverts - "Tall gentleman GSOH would like to meet petite lady for fun and friendship" etc. which can be found in almost every publication nowadays (even Saga magazine!) to online dating and now more recently, speed dating. There's much less risk involved in the latter than in arranging to meet someone you've never met before and who you might take a violent dislike to as soon as you see him or her.  It's a huge bonus if  you have already had the chance to meet this person face to face, however briefly and have at least some idea what they're like.

One of these new breed of agencies (for want of a better word) is ChemistryPreferring to be known as a  dating events company  rather than an agency,  Chemistry- the UK's largest live dating experience,  is set to bring its own formula for finding love to towns and cities across the country. Attracting thousands of the UK 's most eligible, based on a strict 50:50 gender split,.this a totally new way to meet people. Designed specifically for the attractive, articulate, confident and eligible, it’s the safe place to indulge in a bit of social promiscuity, whether you’re looking for mates or dates.

Looks, personality or down right sex appeal - whatever you have to offer, the opposite sex will be showcased to its very best at Chemistry's popular parties.

Chemistry hosts live dating events for fun and flirty single people looking for love. The unique formula of the events creates opportunities to meet potential dates and mates by showing off your greatest assets.

The aim of the game is to meet as many single people as possible and see if chemistry sparks. Participants each have a CUPID (Chemistry User Personal ID) and when they feel the Chemistry, they pass on their details in different ways.

Ways to play:

- The Chemistry Encounters Wall(tm) is the centre of the event - everyone's photograph is displayed to attract potential dates and allow people to see and contact each other.

- Love to dance? Then show off your moves to potential dates at The Chemistry Salsa Experience where people get up close and personal through Latino legwork.

- 'Lock and Key' is the ultimate ice-breaker. Men wear a key around their neck, women wear a lock, and everyone mingles to meet their match.

- Feeling a little shy? Then play at FlirTxt(tm) - where guests send anonymous text messages by using the other person’s CUPID.

- Fast talker? Then impress your dates with 2 minutes Speed Dating - swap details when you find someone who takes your fancy.

When the event ends, the fun continues for partygoers at the Chemistry website  where Chemistry members can see their matches and send messages.

Andrew Pike of Chemistry comments: "Chemistry puts the fun back into being single. Our events bring professional eligible single people together and provides different ways for them to get to know one another - after that it's simply down to chemistry."

Tickets can be bought for £15 (£25 for London parties) via Chemistry, with optional Speed Dating costing £5 on the night. Limited event tickets costing £20 (£30 for London parties) are also available on the door.
The next Birmingham event is on 5th July from 7pm 'til 2am at Mechu, 59 Summer Row, Birmingham, B3 1JJ - CLICK HERE to book online at Chemistry
So, what are you waiting for, check it out!
