WIN TICKETS TO THE GO FISHING SHOW AT THE NEC!

It is a known fact that angling is one of the UK’s largest participation sports with 3.3 million people taking part in coarse, carp, game and sea fishing. But from Friday 14 - Sunday 16 March this year the waters and riverbanks of Britain will be deserted as The Go Fishing Show, Europe’s largest consumer fishing show, takes over The NEC, Birmingham – and we have 10 pairs of tickets to give away!

Fishing fans from all over the country will be heading to the angling event of the century! The Go Fishing Show is the best place to check out top tackle manufacturers, have fun and get expert advice.

The Go Fishing Show 2008 gives anglers the chance to buy the best gear at brilliant prices and boasts a range of terrific trade stands, including world-renowned manufacturers of angling equipment Nash Tackle. Nash will be giving visitors a chance to get their hands on their great gear, as well as the chance to meet their sponsored angler, top UK athlete and Commonwealth Gold Medal winner Dean Macey.

For those who want to brush up on their skills, and beginners who’d like to know more, many of the UK’s best recognized angling stars will be at the show revealing tips and tactics to help net a great catch! Top names for the 2008 show include Matt Hayes, Des Taylor, Bob Nudd and John Wilson. The lecture theatre will give visitors the chance to get up close and personal with the experts, including exclusive, never before seen footage of Martin Bowler and award-winning film-maker Hugh Miles’ great show ‘Catching The Impossible'.

Back by popular demand is The Fish Tank. The amazing aquarium style tank allows the Go Fishing Show’s top angling professionals to demonstrate the best tips and tactics, while allowing visitors to get a ‘fish eye view’ of the fish’s reactions under water! And for those who are true trout devotees, get down to the Go Fishing Casting Pool for the chance to check out the latest tricks and tactics from the UK’s top game fishing experts.

It’s also great value for money, as under 14s can go along to the show FREE and there will be an exciting range of family friendly activities taking place over the three days for everyone to get involved.
