COMEDY
at
mac
Tuesday 4 March
mac and the GAG Club present
Marcus Brigstoke and Inder Minocha
plus Mrs. Barbara Nice
The Theatre, 8pm
Tickets £5.00
mac’s monthly comedy night returns with comedy star Marcus
Brigstoke. Brigstoke must be one of the hardest working acts
around today, mixing up his superb stand up set with his very own BBC2
show We are History, not to
mention starring in The Savages and most recently performing an entire
series featuring his hilarious gap year idiot character
Giles Wemmbley-Hogg on Radio 4. On stage, Brigstocke’s
natural acting skills and his amazing talent for creating and performing
many different characters have made him one of the most sought after acts
on the circuit today. In support, Inder
Minocha proves he can deal with sensitive issues with great
wisdom and wit. A rapidly rising star, his act doesn't shy away from discrimination,
immigration
and the truth behind Bollywood movies.
As ever the evening is hosted by Birmingham’s own Mrs.
Barbara Nice.

The headliner is James Holmes, once described as so camp he makes Julian
Clary look like Clint Eastwood. He had a show in Edinburgh called Telly
and has appeared in a film called Lava in 2002. “Superb comic timing” –
The Sunday Times.
There are two Mcs – Ian Mcdiarmid and Brian McInally guaranteed to do
something unpredictable.
Tim Lacey – an at ease and confident comedian – it’s like talking to
your best friend.
Haqi – a local man with a strong stage presence and characterisation
who is not afraid to tackle larger issues.
Patrick Gallagher approaches any subject and turns it into comedy.
MC for the evening is the cuddliest man in Chelmsley Wood, Ryan Gough.
