SADDLE UP FOR THE UK’S BIGGEST AND BEST EQUESTRIAN EVENT, YOUR HORSE LIVE!
Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November
 Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire

The UK’s biggest and best equestrian retail event, Your Horse Live 2006, on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire is fast approaching. With live demonstrations, celebrity riders and everything a horse needs under one roof, Your Horse Live is the must-attend event for every horse riding enthusiast.

The disciplines of dressage, show jumping and eventing will be tackled in the Petplan Equine main arena where world class riders will show visitors how to improve their performance. Olympic gold-medallist Ulla Salzgeber will be teaching dressage skills while fellow Olympian Geoff Billington will share his experiences of show jumping. Geoff will be joined in the indoor arena by eventing’s newest star Oliver Townend, a hopeful for the 2008 and London’s 2012 Olympic games. Together, they will be offering advice on how to improve your riding skills with interactive demonstrations. Our celebrities will also be meeting their fans and signing autographs.

World Eventing Champion Zara Phillips and international eventer Mary King will be joining the Gear Guide Live panel to share their knowledge of the latest equine gear. Born into one of the best-known equestrian families, Zara is Britain’s first individual World champion for 20 years and has set her sights on winning gold at the Olympics in 2008. Zara will join our panel on Saturday 4th November to answer your questions on the latest equine gear available and to share her best buy recommendations on the Gear Guide Live stage.

On Sunday 5th November, the panel will be joined by the very successful Mary King. In her 20 years career, Mary has enjoyed unbelievable success, representing Britain at all levels. Even when a bad fall in 2001 left her with a broken neck, Mary was undeterred and made an amazing comeback in 2002 to represent Britain at the World Championships.

On the evening of Saturday 4th November, there will be an exclusive gala performance by World Class eventer Pippa Funnell. Pippa's riding career spans over 20 years with numerous successes including wins at Burghley and Badminton. She was the first person to win the eventing Rolex Grand Slam in 2003 and has represented her country on many occasions at World and European level. Pippa will take you through the three stages of eventing and reveal how to ride them more successfully. She will also show you how to overcome competition nerves as well as answering all your questions. Adding to the fun of the gala performance will be Dog Agility, the unique troupe of show jumping dogs!

Your Horse Live features two stage areas dedicated to answering visitors’ questions. While the Gear Guide Live stage will focus on riding equipment and the latest gear available, the Horse Answers Live stage will have riding experts and leading vets that can answer all of your equestrian questions and ensure your horse has a happy and healthy life.

Your Horse Live is host to over 300 exhibitors, each unveiling the latest products and riding equipment. Well known brands such as Ariat, Baileys Horse Feed, Tottie, Bespoke Saddlery and Petplan Equine will be displaying and selling the latest gear as well as offering exclusive show offers.

The Horseware Ireland Arena will have interactive demonstrations and displays of new riding disciplines such as Trec, which tests a horse and rider's ability to cope across varied terrain, negotiating natural obstacles and hazards. We also have the Rare Breeds Village, which will give visitors the opportunity to get up close to some of the UK's rarest horses.

Show ticket prices vary with visitors saving up to 20 per cent off ticket prices when buying in advance. There is also a combined ticket which gives all day access to Your Horse Live and the evening gala performance costs £30 for adult and £21 for children when booked in advance. Your Horse Live is open from 9am until 6pm on Saturday and from 9am until 5.30pm on Sunday for day visitors. The evening performance starts at 6.30pm with the doors opening at 4pm for late night shopping.
