Featuring an eclectic fusion of music and comedy this year’s fantastic line-up includes music from Chris De Burgh, UK chart sensation Jamelia, The Manfreds (featuring Paul Jones and Mike D’Abo), and 80’s rock ‘n’ roller Shakin' Stevens; side-splitting comedy comes from Dame Edna Everage, three times British Comedy Awards’ winner Jack Dee and Jo Brand.  There’s even toe-tapping action from Tap Dogs who combine the strength and power of workmen with the precision of tap dancing along with Jasper who will be hosting the event.  There’s also the chance he may wow you with a few surprises on the night!

Chris de Burgh’s extensive repertoire spans more than three decades and he has achieved 45 million sales worldwide, with 200 gold and platinum discs.  His song-writing has redefined the art of story telling and his fans are still captivated by hits such as Flying, Don’t Pay The Ferryman, High On Emotion and the stunning Lady In Red, the latter reaching no. 1 in 25 countries.

Barry Humphries created the adorable Dame Edna Everage in the 1950s, the universally popular gigastar we know today.  Winning numerous awards across the world for theatre and television, Dame Edna is bound to wow the audiences at Jasper Carrott’s Christmas Rock With Laughter with her outrageously lavish performance.

Jack Dee is firmly established as one of Britain’s best-loved and biggest comedy stars having captured audiences with his dry humour and deadpan delivery.  Jack’s twenty year career has seen him host numerous shows including the critically acclaimed The Jack Dee Show, Jack Dee’s Saturday Night and Jack Dee’s Sunday Service.  

Following a two year absence to have and bring up her second daughter, Jamelia has returned to the music scene with superb album, Walk With Me followed by the recently released greatest hits album, Superstar – The Hits .  This Birmingham born superstar is still in her mid twenties but has racked up a host of awards, including “Best UK Act” at the MOBOs and “Best Single” for See It In A Boy’s Eyes at the Q Awards.

Jo Brand is arguably the best female comic in Britain and will bring to this show her own unique brand of well-tuned, biting humour. 

The Manfreds, one of the best groups of the sixties, are still going strong today. Over a dozen top five hits and three number ones including Pretty Flamingo, The Mighty Quinn, Doo Wha Diddy Diddy are still heard regularly on the nation’s airwaves.  Their appearance at Jasper Carrott’s Christmas Rock With Laughter features both the original singers, Paul Jones and Mike d’Abo, together on stage.

Shakin’ Stevens hit the big time in 1980 with his first UK hit, Hot Dog, and created Shaky mania thereafter with follow up songs Marie Marie and This Ole House. Having achieved a multitude of Gold, Platinum and Double Platinum discs, he’ll leave you rocking in the aisles!

Award-winning dance sensation Tap Dogs are currently taking the world by storm with their unprecedented tap show.  Having toured the world over with incredible performances the Tap Dogs story has been immortalised in the movie Bootmen, which was directed by Tap Dogs creator and choreographer Dein Perry.
