Careers and Jobs Live
Returns To The NEC
Birmingham
9th and 10th March 2003

It has been announced today by the organisers of Careers and Jobs Live - the region’s premier job fair - that the exhibition will be at the NEC on the 9th and 10th March 2003. The show has grown year on year and in February 2002  total number of visitors exceeded 22,000 - making it a must for employers and job seekers alike.

Tom Jarvis Chairman of Jarvis Exhibitions said:
"The NEC has proved to be the perfect location to attract job seekers from throughout the area. The access by public and private transport is a major plus. However it is jobs that matter and we shall have thousands on offer!"

Careers and Jobs Live will have the complete range of job opportunities on offer to appeal to a whole variety of job applicants from school leavers to graduates to job changers and those looking for promotion. All areas of industry and commerce will be represented from banking to marketing from the uniformed services to retail sales and the travel industry.

With the economy, seemingly ,slowing down is there still a demand for employees? Tom Jarvis has been watching the job market with an insider's view:

"It is vital for a company such as ours that specialises in recruitment  exhibitions across the UK to feel the pulse of the UK employment market. Essentially businesses still want the right employees for their companies. Good companies simply do not stop employing they need to continue to be at the top of their game with the best of the new recruits from school leavers to graduates, from job returners to those looking for job enhancement."

The Midlands region is a fertile ground for employment and local businesses. Tom Jarvis acknowledges the significant input of the locality - from large and small businesses to the careers organisations: "The Midlands has a significant number of organisations that are focused on keeping jobs in the region at all levels. We are delighted to be working with them to create what we, confidently, believe is the best careers and jobs exhibition in the region."
