WIN INDIA’S GREATEST EPIC
‘MAHABHARAT’ 
on DVD

A 15 hour abridged, digitally re-mastered version of Mahabharat, the subtitled Indian television series, described as ‘the greatest epic of all time’ will be released on DVD for the first time from 6th October by Arrow Films and Fremantle Home Entertainment.

The great historic story of sibling rivalry interwoven with Hinduism and the mythological history of India, Mahabharat is not only the most cherished of all Indian classics, but also one of the world’s most significant treatises on karma, reincarnation and yoga.

Produced and directed by B.R. Chopra and Ravi Chopra, Mahabharat is based on the classic writing of Rishi Ved Vyasa the Himalayan mystic, philosopher and thinker, known to be the fountain of knowledge.  Mahabharat will be available on a 5 disc Digi-pack which also includes an 8 page booklet containing a glossary of the many characters and an overview of the series.
