Win tickets to the Spring Memorabilia Show at
the NEC!
The MCM Expo Group is giving 5 lucky winners free tickets to the
Spring Memorabilia Show, held at the
NEC, Birmingham on
27-28 March. Packed with movie stars, TV personalities and sporting
legends – not to mention masses of exhibitors and other attractions –
Memorabilia is one of the UK’s leading
entertainment events and a great day out for all the family!
The show’s organisers are delighted to announce that Hollywood star William
Forsythe will be making his first UK appearance at Memorabilia. A prolific
actor, Forsythe has appeared in movies such as The Devil’s Rejects; Once Upon A
Time In America; Raising Arizona; Dick Tracy; Things To Do In Denver When You’re
Dead and Steven Seagal’s Out For Justice, as well as acclaimed TV shows such as
Hill Street Blues and The Untouchables.
Another top talent making the trip to Birmingham is John Saxon. An action film
specialist, Saxon famously starred alongside Bruce Lee in Enter The Dragon, and
has appeared in movies such as A Nightmare On Elm Street, From Dusk Till Dawn,
Black Christmas and Beverly Hills Cop III and TV shows including The Six Million
Dollar Man and CSI.
Memorabilia also marks the first ever event appearance by Oscar-nominated
British actor Ron Moody, best known for his performance in Lionel Bart's stage
and film musical Oliver!, and Mark Lester, who plays the lead role of Oliver
Twist.
In addition, visitors will be treated to a horror double bill with Gunnar
Hansen, who plays the unforgettable Leatherface in 1974 classic The Texas
Chansaw Massacre, and Richard Brooker, who plays killer Jason Vorhees in Friday
13th Part III, both attending the show.
Meanwhile, Sarah-Jane Honeywell and Justin Fletcher from CBeebies’ top-rated
children’s show Higgledy House are visiting the show. The pair, who also starred
together in popular pre-school series Tikkabilla, will be on hand to answer
questions and sign autographs.
It’s back to school with the cast of Grange Hill – Lee Macdonald (Zammo
McGuire); Erkan Mustafa (Roland Browning); Mark Savage (Gripper Stebson);
Gwyneth Powell (Mrs McClusky the Headmistress) and Karen Ford, who played art
teacher Miss Booth, will all be at Memorabilia to relive the much-loved kids’
programme.
Turning to the world of sport, Memorabilia will play host to former Arsenal and
England captain Tony Adams, Liverpool stars John Barnes, Mark Wright and Dietmar
Hamann. Man U, Spurs and England forward Teddy Sheringham, snooker legend Jimmy
‘The Whirlwind’ White, top-scoring Wolves striker Steve Bull, boxer Leon Spinks,
who bested the great Mohammed Ali in 1978. Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour.
Manchester United winger Willie Morgan; and members of Leeds United’s 1972 FA
Cup-winning side will also be attending.
