WIN TICKETS TO THE MEMORABILIA SHOW AT THE NEC

IT’S TIMELORD-TASTIC!
On 23 November 1963 William Hartnell appeared on our small black & white screens as The Doctor– and on 22 & 23 November 2008 it’ll be Timelord-tastic in Birmingham when The Memorabilia Show celebrates forty-five years of the now iconic science fiction series Doctor Who.
The Memorabilia Show lands at The NEC right on time to mark this great occasion and brings with it a whole host of stars, displays and characters from the programme past and present. Fans will have the chance to meet up with some The Doctor’s companions including the very first one – Peter Purves!
There will also be those that are less recognisable without their make-up, masks and outfits, such as Terry Molloy (Davros), Ruari Mears (Hath Gable, Ood, Clone, Cyberman, Slitheen and Judoon) and Dalek Operator Cy Town.
Showbiz fans will have the chance to meet, chat with and have their photo taken with a whole host of celebrities from the worlds of TV, film and sport as well as watch presentations in The Stage Area. Kids can enjoy face painting, Robots Live, a variety of gaming & competitions and everyone can enjoy hunting for that Christmas gift with a difference!
Collectors will be delighted with the ‘firsts’ on offer – new toy ranges and games are at Memorabilia before they’re in the shops! There are also comics, replica props, rare records, DVDs, posters, autographs trading cards, video games action figures, vintage toys and much, much more.
There is a whole host of celebrities at this year’s Memorabilia including The Bionic Woman Lyndsay Wagner and– for Sunday only – is TV icon Henry Winkler. Most famous for playing arguably the coolest dude of the 1970s, The Fonz, Henry is also an accomplished Director and Producer. Heeeeeyy!!
Perfectly timed for the latest Bond instalment Quantam of Solace, The Memorabilia Show celebrates with appearances by some of the most unforgettable Bond girls including Goldfinger’s Shirley Eaton & Honor Blackman and The Man With The Golden Gun’s Britt Eckland.
Sporting heroes include legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, WWF star Bret Hart, the first woman to hold the WWF Intercontinental Championship Chyna and Ultimate Fighting Champion Michael Bisping.
