WIN TICKETS TO MINIATURA’S 40TH EVENT AT THE NEC

Miniatura, arguably the world’s leading show for the fast-growing Dolls’ House hobby, proudly celebrates its 40th event at The NEC on 22 and 23 March.  Miniatura has made Birmingham the world capital for the hobby since the show began in 1983, and now boasts almost 300 of the world’s leading miniaturist craftsmen and suppliers, plus a separate Trade-Only section for shop owners and retailers. 

A visit to this unique and fascinating show offers a great day out for all members of the family, and for anyone interested in collecting or making scale models in 1/12th  and related scales.  Both D.I.Y. materials and exquisitely crafted finished fine-art quality miniatures, to delight the most discerning collectors, will be at the show. You can see furniture to hold in the palm of your hand.  Houses, sheds, and castles with fixtures and fittings of every sort promise to enthral visitors.  Makers can buy building plans, reference books, bricks, floorboards, wallpaper, carpet kits and paint.  Gardens are not forgotten with plant pots, wheelbarrows, greenhouses, deckchairs and even lawns to laze on can also be found. There are books & magazines, exhibitions of miniature needlecraft, demonstrations of polymer clay modelling, plus visitor prizes at the Cancer Research UK charity stand - with all this on offer Miniatura should really not be missed. Seeing really is believing, and over the last twenty years, thousands of visitors have become ‘1/12th scalers’. 

On Sunday 23rd March, the show is open to all from 10.00am – 4.30pm tickets in advance are priced £5.50 adult, £3.00 child, £8.00 family ticket (1 adult + 2 children).  On the door prices are £6.00 adult, £3.00 child, £8.50 family ticket (1 adult + 2 children) on the door.  Tickets are subject to booking fee and can be purchased on-line at www.necgroup.co.uk/boxoffice or from The NEC Box Office on   0121 767 4100.
