Halls 6, 7,17-20
 9-18 November
gear up for largest ever bikeshow

A new in-door scooter test track makes November’s International Motor Cycle and Scooter Show  the largest ever.  Six Birmingham NEC halls will be transformed into a two-wheeled wonderland featuring freestyle jumping, a Sanyo supported Fashion Show and THQ video games arcade.

More than 300 new machines will make their UK debuts at the show, which opens to the public with an exclusive Preview Day on Friday 9th November.  A ticket hotline (08700 78 48 78) offering £3 off the adult admission price is now open.

Europe’s most popular show attracts up to 200,000 visitors, making it the most successful show held annually at the NEC.  A purpose built test track in Hall 7 offers free tuition and a range of scooters to test ride.  Novice riders can get mobile quickly and safely while more experienced bikers can test a range of scooters from different manufacturers.

A live freestyle jumping competition provides the most extreme sports action the show has ever seen.   Last year’s Supercross racing display was the UK’s most popular single off-road racing event attracting 57,000 spectators over 10 days.  This year’s freestyle competition featuring many world-class stars is expected to top that figure.

The Sanyo Fashion Show unveils the looks and styles for next year’s fashion conscious bikers and stylish commuters.  Meanwhile the THQ Interactive Games Zone offers free plays of all the latest arcade style games.

www.motorcycleshow.co.uk, the official show web site is crammed with up to the minute details of all the new models and sports stars appearing at the NEC -  it’s your essential pre-show guide.  The site includes a free interactive game, exclusive competitions plus an A - Z listing of the show’s 250 exhibitors.

Irene Yedd, Managing Director of show organisers Motorcycle Industry Exhibitions, said: “This year’s show is our most ambitious project ever, with new live in-door attractions, more international exhibitors and a record number of new model launches.”
