It’s all
change in Renault’s small car range with the introduction of the all-new third
generation Clio, but for fans of the current Clio II a reduced range will remain
on sale to be known as ‘Clio Campus’, priced under the New Clio.
Clio continues heritage…
Production of the current Clio will continue at the Renault factory in
Slovenia leaving the factories in France to produce the New Clio.
The Clio II range sees the revival of the Campus name, which was last seen
in the 1990’s when the Renault 5 remained on sale at the launch of the first
generation Clio.
Now Clio Campus will continue alongside New Clio for several years,
providing stylish, practical comfort at an affordable price.
Clio Campus is available to order now in three-door only, starting from
£7,895 rising to £9,495 a price reduction of over £300 compared to the previous
equivalent versions. Whereas New Clio is a similar price to current Clio, with
this reduction in price Renault can now offer a lower entry-level option.
Two versions, three Euro IV engines
Clio Campus will be available in two versions – Clio Campus and Clio
Campus Sport. The Clio Campus has a choice of the 1.2 60 petrol or 1.5 dCi 68
diesel, where as the Clio Campus Sport has the 1.2 16V 75 and 1.5 dCi 68. Each
engine is fully Euro IV emission compliant.
The Campus versions share the same equipment specification as the previous
special edition Clio’s they are based on, the Rush (Campus) and Extreme 4

However as well as gaining Euro IV engines, the dCi engine available on
both Campus and Campus Sport benefits from an increase in power from 65hp to
