CARS FROM THE JAMES BOND FILM "DIE ANOTHER DAY"

CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO OF CARS FROM THE JAMES BOND FILM "DIE ANOTHER DAY" AT THE MOTORSHOW

Click on the link to see the digital video clips. They are in .wmv file format, so you should be able to view them easily simply by clicking on them and watching them in Windows Media Player (part of Internet Explorer) which should automatically load without you doing anything else. They also work in Real Player etc.. They are best viewed with a fast Internet connection and a reasonable computer, but most should be capable of showing them. Most are reasonably small files in size (1 - 1.5 MB).

TIP: If you have a slow connection, or the Internet is particularly busy, they may play a bit "jerky" to start with, let them fully load and then click "play" again and this will often overcome this.

Bond gadgets are scene stealers on Press Day

ONE of the “must see” stands at this year’s British International Motor Show will undoubtedly be the auto-stars of the latest James Bond movie.

The three cars that will feature in the forthcoming twentieth Bond movie Die Another Day, were unveiled to the world’s press today.

Mounted on a vast block of ice and sporting snow chains and studded tyres, the cars - an Aston Martin Vanquish, a Jaguar XKR and a Ford Thunderbird – revealed their hidden weaponry for the first time. At the flick of a switch guns, missiles, and rocket launchers protruded from the cars to give a feeling of what cinemagoers can expect when they see the film.

Avoiding slipping over on the ice and escorted by three exotic looking models, Bob Dover, chief operating officer of Aston Martin Jaguar and Land Rover, said: “These are the auto stars of the new film…with their heat seeking missiles, guns, rockets and an ejector seat. There are enough arms here to take out a small town.”

To a round of applause Dover added: “It’s great to see Bond back in a British car. He’s back where he belongs.”

Joining Pierce Brosnan as Bond in the movie – which launches in the UK on November 22 – will be the villains Halle Berry who drives the Thunderbird and Rick Yune who will no doubt appreciate teaming up with the XKR.
