Zig Zag Super Prix at Donington Park – Sunday 5th October WIN FREE TICKETS!! (See below) The EuroBOSS Championship is an FIA ‘International Racing Series’ open to Indy Car and pre-1998 Formula One and F3000 chassis with engines of unlimited capacity. Teams competing in the Championship visit some of the most prestigious circuits throughout Europe and have been responsible for setting outright lap records at 15 circuits. The Donington record, a swift 1:24.75 lap, was set in 2002 by EuroBOSS racer Earl Goddard in a Benetton Ford, formerly driven by Michael Schumacher on the way to his first ever F1 Drivers Championship. EuroBOSS will be stirring the passion of the Donington race crowd with its exhilarating on-track action, whilst the open paddock and relaxed atmosphere will provide fans with the opportunity to touch, admire and be photographed with some of the world’s most famous cars including the 1997 Benetton formerly driven by Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger, the 1992 Arrows FA13 formerly driven by Michel Alboreto and the type 101 Judd CV powered Lotus, raced by Nelson Piquet in 11 grand prix during 1989. The high-speed entries for the Zig Zag Super Prix are the highlight of the event which also includes Formula Renault, Formula Saloons, Sports 1600, BMW, Westfield Sportscar and Ginettas. The first Zig Zag Super Prix powers-off at 1.00pm, the finishing positions will determine the grid position for the second race at 4.30pm. Entry to the action packed day of racing is £10.00 per adult, including free access to the grandstand areas. Accompanied children under-16 will be admitted free-of-charge.
