Rockingham and the MG Car Club will be celebrating the great British sports car with a weekend of track action and family fun at the UK’s fastest motor racing circuit, near Corby in Northamptonshire. See below for a chance to win FREE TICKETS to this fantastic meeting The British Sports Car Weekend will take place on May 25th and 26th and will feature an action packed event programme of 16 races with nearly 450 cars of all shapes and sizes contesting rounds of several major national championships for MG’s, Austin-Healeys, Morgans, Triumphs and Jaguars. A guest appearance of the Maranello Ferrari Challenge will add a bit of Mediterranean flavour to a very British weekend.
Off the track there will be exclusive car parks for each of the marques with the owners’ clubs offering members’ facilities. Other activities include classic car trade sites, sports car sales and demonstrations on the banked oval track of the Le Mans MG Lola, just three weeks before the team competes in the classic 24 hour race.
After the last event on Saturday spectators will be offered the unique experience of driving around the Rockingham Oval Circuit in their own marque cars, limited to the first 250 applicants. With every spectator getting a grandstand seat with a view of the track unrivalled in British motorsport and free entry to paddock, the British Sports Car Weekend at Rockingham offers something for everyone.
Admission price is £5 per person on Saturday,
£10 for Sunday and £12 for a weekend ticket.
