Mike Luck and his 24:7 Motorsport team have confirmed their entry into the 2005
SCSA Racing Championship with support from Italian hand tool manufacturer Beta.
The Redditch based driver, who finished as runner up in the 2004 rookie honours,
intends to build on the success of his first SCSA season. “I am very pleased
with this deal, which will help the team become a serious entry for the 2005
title,” said Luck. “Beta tools are 100% behind the team and I’m confident of
being competitive from the start of the first race in May. Last year was a steep
learning curve for the whole team and we achieved a massive amount on a very
limited budget.”
Beta’s UK sales manager Steve Morgan is also looking forward
to the season. “The SCSA series fits in well with our marketing plans. We get to
showcase our products, while enjoying first class corporate entertainment
facilities”
Further support for 24:7 Motorsport will come from Luton based silicone hose
manufacturer SFS Performance after first appearing on the car last year.
The 24:7 Motorsport Chevrolet Monte Carlo will be seen at the SCSA Championship
Launch at Millennium Point in Birmingham on 24th March and then it takes to the
track for the first time in 2005 for pre season testing at Rockingham on 18th
April.
