WIN TICKETS TO THE ORDNANCE SURVEY OUTDOORS SHOW AT THE NEC

Adrenaline junkies and Sunday afternoon strollers can all find something to fuel their passion for the great outdoors at the Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show from 14-16 March and we have got 5 pairs of tickets to give away.

This year’s show has many new and exciting features, more celebrity speakers and the latest walking gear on display.

Visitors to the show can try a new activity for the first time such as learning to dive with PADI, tackling the Trespass High Ropes Experience, join a climbing masterclass, learn bushcraft skills in the Wilderness Camp or have a go at mountain biking. The Outdoors Show is the perfect place to give it a go and receive expert instruction. Once in the show it’s free for visitors to try any of the activities on offer!
Having explored the world’s finest tourist destinations, decided on where to go on holiday, bought the latest gear, learnt how to survive in the wild and tried surfing, visitors can take a seat in the World Theatre to hear tales of adventure from the UK’s most famous outdoors celebrities.

TEST YOUR LIMITS IN THE ULTIMATE TEST OF ENDURANCE, SKILL & FEAR


The British countryside is THE place to escape to, tackle pulsating river currents, hang precariously off the side of a cliff face or launch yourself down terrifying terrain on your bike and the people at The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show are looking for someone who can do all this and more.

The Great Outdoors Quest will take a selection of the UK’s very best adventure racers – dump them at a TOP SECRET location somewhere in the UK and in an attempt to separate the men from the boys and women from the girls the teams will be need to fulfil a number of tasks to discover who is the strongest, fittest and most fearless and who can arrive at the opening of The Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show first. The team first through the doors at the NEC on Friday 14 March will win exclusive, money can’t buy prizes.

If you think you have got what it takes then send a short video or powerpoint presentation explaining or, even better, illustrating why you should be chosen to take part. Contestants will be expected to take part in a selection of activities from cycling to kayaking to climbing and abseiling with some surprises thrown in too.

Teams should feature one man and one woman and at least one member of each team should hold a full UK driving license. Contestants will be required to be available between the dates of 11 and 14 March. All equipment needed for the challenge will be provided.
