The  new  collection  features a career-spanning collection  of  tracks,  it  is released as a 2 CD collection including hits & essential favourites from one  of music's  most  enduring legends. Rod Stewart has sold over 250 million albums worldwide to date and is one of the world's  most  successful  chart  artists  of  all  time,  the  newly  assembled collection offers something for everyone.

With  roots  in  the British blues-rock and folk scenes of the  '60s,  Stewart's diverse career has encompassed major success as a member of the Jeff Beck  Group and Faces, solo superstardom since the early '70s, and a recent incarnation as a premiere interpreter of the Great American Songbook.

This  new  anthology presents stellar tracks spanning 1971 to 1998  including  a Faces favourite 'Stay With Me', decades of solo hits, unplugged gems, soundtrack selections and more.

Arranged chronologically, Stewart's early solo years are represented by  several cuts  ('Maggie  May', 'You Wear It Well') from the unforgettable, Every  Picture Tells A Story (1971) and Never A Dull Moment (1972).

The  2nd half of Disc one shifts to his Warner Bros. years with the huge ballad, 'Sailing', and hits such as 'Tonight's The Night', 'You're In My Heart' and  'Da Ya Think I'm Sexy' from Blondes Have More Fun (1978).

The  second  disc concentrates on music made during the '80s and '90s  including 'Infatuation', 'Some Guys Have All The Luck', 'Love Touch', 'Forever Young'  and 'Motown Song' from Vagabond Heart (1991).

Other highlights include a cover of Tom Waits' tracks 'Downtown Train' and  'Tom Traubert's  Blues' as well as 'Have I Told You Lately', 'Reason To Believe'  and 'Handbags and Gladrags' (from MTV's Unplugged series).

The  collection  concludes with a previously unreleased track,  'Two  Shades  Of Blue', recorded in 1998 during the When We Were The New Boys session.

The  Deluxe Version features a bonus DVD with 14 music videos spanning  1975  to 1998  which  includes some rarely seen videos such as 'The  Killing  Of  Georgie (Part  1  &  II) and 'She Won't Dance With Me', along with MTV-era staples  like 'Hot Legs', 'Da Ya Think I'm Sexy', 'Young Turks' amongst others.
