VALENTINE NEWS:

THE SINGLE SOLUTION BRINGS NEW SINGLES PARTY TO BIRMINGHAM

There is love in the air for all Birmingham singles this February. Launching on Valentine’s Day, The Single Solution, London’s largest dating and social event organisation for professionals, is set to take Birmingham by storm with its fresh and innovative approach to dating.

The launch event takes place on Wednesday 14 February at Birmingham’s stylish and vibrant Mono Bar in the Arcadian Centre, Hurst Street from 7.00 pm till late. Tickets for the Valentine launch event are £20, but early bookings will get a reduction, or even a free ticket depending how early the booking is made. Aimed exclusively at single professionals, this first event is for people aged between 24 and 39. Friendly hosts introduce guests, offer a welcome drink to those arriving early before the evening kicks off with a fun ice-breaker to get you chatting to others straight away, with prizes and good music.

Get closer to finding your ideal Valentine with the optional speed-dating available on the night, when you can meet up to seven people on a one-to-one basis in just 21 minutes.

‘What makes our events different is that we target exclusively the professional singles to ensure the synergy of like minded people’ says Paul Ergatoudis, who has run the Single Solution since 2002 and now has a database of over 20,000 names. ‘We also hold parties for different age groups to ensure the right mix every time. Our events are non-smoking and the music is never loud enough to prevent good conversation. We want people to talk to each other, not shout, especially when they first meet’.

When setting up, Ergatoudis listened to what people disliked about single events. ‘The main complaint was that there were always ‘too many men’ or ‘too many women’ he says. So he introduced the Cyberbouncer™, a device that helps guarantee a 50:50 male-female ratio, within a few percent. The Cyberbouncer™ automatically ‘bounces off’ onto a waiting list guests of either gender when the ratio is tilted. As more guests of the opposite gender book, those on a waiting list are released and confirmed. Visitors to www.singlesolution.com  can preview the guest list in advance and start making contact with prospective dates as soon as a ticket is purchased.
