GET ON DOWN TO THE SKI SHOW If you’re into skiing, boarding or blading then put a date in your diary now to visit The Ski & Snowboard Show at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Being held from the 12th - 14th October 2001 this is THE place to go for the latest in top branded names in snow wear, equipment and holidays. Visitors can shop for bargains, discover new resorts and take advantage of a lesson with a qualified instructor on one of two teaching slopes - a real snow slope or a larger dry ski slope. For the more adventurous, there’s ‘The Rock’ rotating climbing wall challenge. This latest craze to hit Britain from America, challenges visitors to test their stamina on the programmed climbing courses which vary in toughness from beginner to championship levels.
Alternatively, visitors can watch in awe as world champions in big air freestyle jumping demonstrate their breathtaking skills on the world’s biggest mobile ramp. The Ski and Snowboard Show at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham is open from 12.00 - 9pm on Friday 12th October and from 10am - 6pm on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October.
