SOUNDS IN THE ROUND AT mac


Joyce

Long, warm summer evenings…the sound of music floating in the air over Cannon Hill Park…yes, it’s that time of year again for mac’s annual Sounds in the Round season.

If you’ve not already been to a Sounds in the Round gig, this is an unmissable opportunity to enjoy some of the best music from around the world right on your doorstep.

Sounds in the Round has been running since the end of May is now almost over for another year. However, still to come and closing the season are Joyce (4 Aug) and The Proclaimers. The Proclaimers has sold out, but tickets are still available for Joyce:

Brazilian singer, composer and guitarist Joyce is one of the greatest musical treasures of Brazil. Her musical style was nurtured in Rio’s fertile music scene and combines Brazilian rhythms, jazz harmonies and intelligent lyrics through a beautifully expressive voice.

All Sounds in the Round events take place in the unique setting of mac’s open-air Arena. They will also be holding Lakeside BBQs and there will be an outdoor Bar, so you can enjoy some food, a glass or two of your favourite tipple and make an evening of it.
