New at Taste of Birmingham for 2007,
the Cockburn’s Port Hole Bar will be open to all visitors at what is
now the most prestigious food and drink road show in the UK. Here
you will be warmly invited to sit, relax and enjoy the Cockburn’s
Moment with a selection of Cockburn’s Ports ranging from chilled 10
Year Old Tawny and Light White to ruby Port, such as LBV, with
finger foods to match. There will also be an exclusive opportunity
at the Port Hole Bar to taste a Cockburn’s Single Quinta Vintage
Port that is not available to buy in the shops!
Summer serving suggestions:
1. It’s time to ditch the G & T and try something different! Why not
try this summer’s alternative, Cockburn’s White Port & Tonic, a dry,
light and effervescent aperitif with a zingy citrus kick. It takes
seconds to make: simply splash a measure of Cockburn’s Light White
Port over ice in a high ball glass, top up with tonic water to taste
and finish it off with a slice of lemon on top.
2. Or, serve Cockburn’s 10 Year Old Tawny chilled in a small wine
glass.
