around Europe on a tour bus in the company of 40 strangers, they discover
deeply buried memories, regrets and passions.

Our review of The Uncoupling Upright, correct Balu and reticent, subservient Janaki have no notion that their holiday of a lifetime will indeed prove to be a life changing experience, changing both of them from their own and each others' points of view forever. Other characters we meet are a delight - from Romi and Inder who provide a contrast to the hero and heroine and act as a catalyst for the events which follow, to Sister Bernadette the retired nun and the party of rich divorcees - the Chicago ladies. Both Balu and Inder are alike in thinking how things might have been had their wives been different "...if only they had had the foresight to have moulded the women in their lives differently". Giving little thought to the fact that their wives might well be having similar thoughts of them. For an entertaining read but also one which is gently thought provoking,
don't miss "The Uncoupling"
