Whistle Down The Wind

When a young girl mistakes a mysterious bearded fugitive hiding in a barn for Jesus Christ, the scene is set for an uplifting tale of the transforming power of love and the enduring nature of human kindness.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman's hit West End Musical is based on the much loved movie which starred Hayley Mills and features a host of award winning songs including The Vaults of Heaven, Whistle Down The Wind and the No.1 hit No Matter What.

Re-located to America's deep south, a 15 year old girl discovers a mysterious man hiding in a barn.  When she asks his identity, the first words he utters are "Jesus Christ".  It's as if all her prayers have been answered.  The girl and the town's other children vow to protect the stranger from the world that awaits outside; meanwhile, the townpeople are determined to catch a fugitive recentl escaped from gaol....

Whistle Down the Wind's multi-award-winning songs and powerful all new staging combines epic storytelling with intimate emotion as the innocence of children collides with the cynicism of the adult world.
