We have recently visited Whittlebury Hall and enjoyed an  Escape & Spa Stay package.  For £99 per person (slightly more at the weekend), you can take advantage of:-

The emphasis here is on comfort - sofas invite you to take time out and relax in the welcoming lobby or, if you tire of just people-watching, the impressive lounge with its many sofas and antiques is ideal for curling up with a cup of tea and the newspapers.

The bedrooms are comfortable and well furnished with attractive decor and soft furnishings.  All are equipped with a flat screen TV and Wi Fi. The bathrooms are well - appointed and stocked with Molten Brown toiletries.

For your evening meal, there is a choice of restaurants although dinner in Astons is included in this package. It offers a good choice for all tastes.  The service was excellent - attentive without being obtrusive.  The food was excellent and beautifully presented with ample portions. We could not resist the delicious, warm, freshly baked bread rolls and were surprised when we had eaten the whole basket, to be brought another basket - not something I have ever experienced before (we didn't manage to eat the second one although we made a valiant attempt!)

The next morning's breakfast was also delicious and again served in Astons Restaurant.  There was plenty of choice and the atmosphere was very relaxed and leisurely - this is certainly not the place to come if you are hoping to lose weight!

We also had a lovely lunch on the Sunday in the Leisure Club Café but unfortunately, we had eaten so much on the previous evening and for breakfast that we could not really do it the justice it deserved!  A tempting buffet was set out with lots of fresh fish, meat and salad, along with some hot food if you wished, followed by fresh fruit salad.

The café overlooks the 19 metre pool which has a delightful relaxing atmosphere - decorated in the style of a Greek temple with a fabulous jacuzzi and adjacent sauna and steam rooms.  There are also comfortable sunloungers around the pool's edge for you to relax on and sip a cool drink.

The Day Spa is, of course, the place to go for a range of treatments which are all designed to pamper and make you feel good Here also you will find the hydrotherapy pool, heated benches, foot spas, crystal steam room, salt steam room, caldarium, sauna, sanarium, experience showers and ice cave which all form part of the Heat and Ice Experience.
